Welcome to Miss Lincoln County and Miss Lincoln County’s Teen Information Page!

2022 was the inaugural year for the Miss Lincoln County and Miss Lincoln County’s Outstanding Teen Competition. Previously Lincoln County was represented by the winner of the Miss Chandler Competition from 1957, 1959 and 1961. The Miss Stroud Competition was held in Stroud from 1978 to 2004. 

Previous Miss Strouds include Billi Kay Smith who was crowned later that year the 1962 Miss Oklahoma; Cynthia White, 1990 Miss Oklahoma , Gina Lynne Smith who was crowned Miss Oklahoma 1991 and Daneka Allen who in 1999 won the Miss Oklahoma title. Other Miss Strouds who eventually won the Miss Oklahoma title include Shawntel Smith – Miss Stroud 1994, won the Miss Oklahoma title the next year and went on to become Miss America, Tiffany Craig, Miss Stroud 1992 who was crowned Miss Oklahoma in 1994 and Julie Payne, Miss Stroud 1996 who was crowned Miss Oklahoma 1998.

The Lincoln County director and board feels that this competition is not about a crown or no crown but as Miss America states, “We are preparing great women for the world and the world for great women.” The journey is just as important as the prize. We are looking for all-around great women to represent our county. These titles are NOT just about competing at the state competitions but representing Lincoln County. 

We are looking for titleholders who are: articulate, have a sense of conviction, poised, knowledgeable, talented, community driven and whom possess a commitment to Lincoln County and attending various Lincoln County events and appearances. Our director and prep team has the knowledge and experience to give you the training to prepare you for your journey within the Miss Oklahoma Organization and beyond.

Our 2024-25 competition is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Stroud Performing Arts Center at 6:30 pm.

Miss Lincoln County/Miss Stroud and Miss Lincoln County's Teen Competitions are part of the Miss Oklahoma Organization.

The Miss America Opportunity is one of the nation’s leading achievement programs and one of the world’s largest providers of scholarship assistance for young women. This assistance is not just for the handful of young women who become Miss America but is available to all young women who compete in the state and local competitions as well. 

The Miss Oklahoma Organization is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization and licensee of the Miss America Opportunity, which oversees the local and state competitions for the selection of the Miss Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma’s Teen titleholders.

Miss America and Miss America’s Teen is open to young ladies ages 13-28. The mission of the Miss America Scholarship Competition is to provide an opportunity for ladies to compete in a first class competition and to encourage them to continue pursuing their talents, become positive influences in their communities and develop into mature, responsible young women of the highest morals and integrity.

The competition provides an opportunity for ladies in Oklahoma to engage in a formal interview with the judges, helping them develop positive communication skills for life. The young ladies will also focus on their personal fitness training in preparation for the Health/Fitness competition. This casual wear competition will show each candidate’s sense of style and self-confidence as she models on stage. Their gracefulness and poise will be demonstrated in the evening wear competition and their marvelous talents will be presented during the talent competition.

Each contestant is encouraged to reach her educational goals and aspirations and to serve her community by becoming involved in local community service. Truly, the delegates for Miss Oklahoma and Miss Oklahoma's Teen are graceful, talented, poised and confident young ladies that will be the future leaders for our great state.
